Boat Parts NZ is a trading name of Takara Trading Ltd, a New Zealand registered company.

These Terms apply when you use boatparts.co.nz or purchase products from us.

2. Products and compatibility

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices, compatibility information and availability are accurate.

Customers should check the relevant engine model and original part number before ordering. Please contact us if you require assistance confirming compatibility.

Boat Parts NZ is an independent supplier and is not affiliated with Volvo Penta, Yanmar, MerCruiser or other original equipment manufacturers. Brand names and original part numbers are used only to identify compatibility. Products are aftermarket replacement parts unless they are expressly described as genuine.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery charges are calculated and clearly displayed at checkout before payment is completed. There are no undisclosed handling charges.

Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

4. Orders

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase from us. An order is accepted when we confirm it and receive payment.

We may cancel or decline an order if a product is unavailable, information or pricing is incorrect, payment cannot be processed, or we reasonably suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after payment, we will provide a full refund.

5. Shipping and delivery

We currently deliver within New Zealand. Processing times, estimated delivery timeframes, shipping charges and tracking information are explained in our Shipping Policy:

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. Returns, refunds and faulty products

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986 or other applicable New Zealand law.

If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or does not match its description, please contact us promptly so we can provide an appropriate remedy.

7. Website information

We may correct errors in product descriptions, prices, availability or other website content. We may also update or discontinue products without notice.

If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you and give you the option of proceeding with the corrected information or receiving a refund.

8. Intellectual property

The Boat Parts NZ name, website content, photographs, graphics and other original material may not be copied or used commercially without our permission.

Third-party brand names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification and compatibility purposes.
